INN Welcomes Dr. Ravi Menon to its Advisory Committee
Dr. Menon is a Professor of Medical Biophysics and Medical Imaging at Western University and a member of both the Graduate Program in Neuroscience and the Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering. As the founder and Scientific Director of Western’s Centre for Functional and Metabolic Mapping (CFMM), Canada’s national ultra-high field MRI facility, Dr. Menon has been instrumental in advancing ultra-high field MRI techniques for structural and functional imaging, particularly in the neurosciences.
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, as well as a Senior Fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Dr. Menon’s advisory expertise spans multiple high-impact organizations, including serving on the Board of Scientific Counselors of the National Institute of Mental Health/NIH, the Canada Gairdner Foundation prize panel, and as a Director on the Board of the Brain Canada Foundation.
